One-to-one guitar lessons in Amersham with a degree-qualified, DBS-checked tutor. We teach electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitar to adult learners and serious students — from those preparing for LCM, Trinity, or RGT grade exams to adult returners and experienced players working on advanced technique or repertoire.

Lessons run for one hour and cost £50, taught from our teaching room in Amersham (a short walk from Amersham station, free parking nearby). In-person availability is very limited — we only take on a small number of face-to-face students each term, so spaces tend to fill quickly.

Who in-person lessons suit best

Face-to-face tuition works particularly well for students preparing for graded exams who need close attention to posture and technique, adult returners who want the focus of a dedicated lesson space away from home distractions, and experienced players looking for advanced coaching on tone, performance, or specific repertoire.

You'll get a personalised practice plan after each session, digital backing tracks and tab where useful, and ongoing support between lessons by email. We also offer full preparation for LCM, Trinity College London, and RGT graded exams, with a strong track record of merit and distinction passes.
